if its mostly for novelty go for the pw87. though that specific gun can be janky and unfinished you might need to fuck with it for it to smoothed out and feedwell. it only works with 2 3/4. if you want a practical gun that just works get the 500

get a lightly used 500 from your local shop for a whole lot less

The 500 will be miles more practical than the '87.
I do like mine, but I honestly find my Wingmaster more fun to shoot at the range.
I don't regret buying the lever action though, if only for the novelty.
