I've been thinking about trading my Saiga 7.62x39 for one of these and putting the Galil style folding stock on it since slant receivers kinda fuck up your stock options. Also putting a Molot grip on it since I LOVE the way they feel in hand. Idk what to do with the forend, maybe just keep the wood.

How would you put the folding stock on a slant receiver?
Ive seen the tapco folding stocks on wasrs that are bent down and come out too much and look like shit so I cant imagine how horrible something like that would look with an added slant adapter piece making it come out even more.

I got one of those a while ago, sadly they do not come threaded like the other versions, ended up threading it in 15x1rh because otherwise i would have to send it off to get the barrel reprofiled. Not sure what i really want to do with it. Mostly had a bit of fun with the furniture before i get an actual stock/forend

Unfortunately it wasn't a gen1 trigger pack but I'll be dropping in a short throw hammer and safety sear anyway.

Factory optic is better than expected but I'm not much of a glass snob.

I bought one of the Beretta 71 .22s from JG sales.

It's pretty neat. I'm very happy with the purchase, unhappy with the magazine availability.

GSG STG-44 .22 semi auto. Bought it online on a whim and have fallen in love with it. Heavy as my M1 Garand (about 9.5 lb) . The sights and function are fantastic, and it burned through all sorts of .22 ammo no matter how crap it was.

Hell, even the wood packing crate it comes in is cool. Recommended!

First gun. Ruger in 5.56 I got it a week ago. Right now it's basically a poorfag scout-rifle. Took it to the range a few days ago and it was super accurate and downright fun to shoot. Really glad I got this instead of a Mosin. I want more guns though! Can't wait until I get money for that.

the cartridge is so long that there isn't enough room in a standard ak/rpk dimension receiver to accommodate both the magazine well and a bullet guide. psl receivers are longer than rpk receivers.
54r is like 5-6mm longer overall than 308.
