I was 5"7 and 200lbs a little over a year ago. Dropped 40lbs from May-October, most of that simply by paying attention to calories and giving myself a hard limit. I didn't really start working out until I'd lost about 25lbs (early August), and after that it was mostly jiu jitsu and light conditioning.

Math is not bullshit -- take in less calories than you need and you will lose weight. 2lbs/week is very doable.

The safety doesn't affect the trigger weight/feel in my experience. Also in my experience, Shield triggers (much like Glock triggers) vary from pistol to pistol -- even when they're new. Tolerance stacking and such.

Pick what you want. If you don't like the trigger after a bit of use, go buy APEX components.

I put a little over 100 rounds of 147 gr. HST +P's through my P38k and had two failures to feed. I've since polished the feed ramp and switched over to Hornady 137 gr. Critical Duty.

The expansion isn't as good but the penetration is better which is something I appreciate more now than I use to. The flex-lock feeds reliably and I dig the performance, considering +P though.

For what it's worth, I still like HST's and they'd probably feed fine post-polish. I have never had a malfunction in my P99 either and would likely carry it in that if I didn't have all this 9BPLE +P+.

I just picked up a standard, non eclipse Incog holster for my Glock 19.

I'm aware that incogs are great, but is there any real reason to buy an Eclipse model? I'm not really understanding why it's so much more expensive when you can literally just by the extended Mojo mount thing and throw it on your regular incog an have the same thing.

the Schofield and SAA repros are some of the few handguns I own that I wouldn't want to edc. single action is forgivable in a NAA pocket derringer but a full size carry revolver needs double action too.
