Notice the pattern date of 1950. It's the same thing as an M1950 overcoat just with different nomenclature and probably different color as well since it's marked as OG-107 instead of OD #7 which the M1950 overcoat was. It's a pretty standard trench coat, could be used with dress uniforms or fatigue uniforms, but field coats were much more common since they're not as heavy as ovecoats.

I figured I'd ask this here.

M05 has more darks and browns, and was made primarily for evergreen pine forests and the likes in Finland. Multicam tropic is more green and lighter, and was designed for lush forested areas.

By the looks of your photo. I'd go with the multicam, but M05 might work for a larger time during the year when the seasons start to change (more browns will help it blend in better in early spring/late summer when multicam tropic might only be effective in high summer)

Are you fucking retarded? Have you ever picked up a history book? There was an entire counter-revolutionary force called the White Russians who fought against the bolsheviks throughout the whole country.
>they went along with it until the end
You mean forced to go along with it or face execution by the totalitarian commie regime? By your logic, every white person in every white society isn't actually white, because they're "going along with" their kike-infested marxist governments.
>The spineless russian people are the reason why jews are ruling the US
It's Russia's fault that your government is a kike-infested shithole? Sounds like a bad attempt at delegating responsbility.

Stamped metal collar tabs have four to six prongs holding the metal part to the backing. Someone simply poked holes inside one layer of fabric and stuck the prongs through.

Like the trench coats, these things were meant for foul weather, so they came with factory-sewn shoulder board buttons and not the Russian-style "two holes+tie-string" bullshit common to most EG uniforms. It was up to the wearer to apply on his own boards.

The subdued officer boards on yours have nice big buttonholes, so slipping them off shouldn't be a problem.

French wore Palladium boots in Algeria and Indochina, I don't know exact details but all over guys wore Chuck Taylors and Palladiums.
>>
>>30966909
Pretty interesting, i feel like if the US government let our infantrymen choose their own shoe (within guidelines) they would be much more effective.
>>
>>30966942

I don't have the pic but on one of the operator threads someone posted some guys, I think SEALs, wearing all black Chuck Taylor high tops.

Plus they look good.
I'm a buckle boot guy myself but high tops are pretty nice for hot days and are nice and light.
>>
>>30966977
Plus they're a lot lighter than the normal Leather/canvas jungle boots or current issue ones. RAT boots are like 2 pounds a piece, sounds like hell to walk in those through the desert.

Palladium boots are actually pretty cheap. They're one of the companies that used to make jungle boots for the french army so the style and construction is really sound.
>>
>>30967286
I have it.
>>
>>30967264
Do you have any proof it's a real, intentionally created pattern? It could just be really faded rhodesian camo.
>>
>>30967407
Or the product of old photographic equipment and time on old photos?
>>
>>30967407
>>30967416
I'm not sure that;s how fading works. Someone else might be able to furnish you with details, but I take Camopedia's word as gospel.
>>
>>30967407

Rhodie has a smock in the pattern, it's confirmed to be an experimental coloration, however so far I haven't seen any surviving official documentation of it.
Also you can see in >>30967269 the guy wearing the normal trousers shows the variation.

You can tell the difference between (((Levi's))) and the bazillions of other blue jeans simply by looking at a blurry-ass picture? That's pretty dang impressive, especially considering you're correct - they're LS model 907.
>>
>>30967821
Im a jean connoisseur, i know what a good pair of jeans looks like and i know what a bad pair looks like. Those arent Wrangler's, so they're shit.
>>
Is Cuban blue-tinted lizard camo worth anything? Saw one of the shirts for sale at the same store I got the "Angolan" one from.

>>30967841
Recommend me a good pair to go with the leather jacket.
Preferably traditional fit and dark blue fabric, none of that ripped/pre-stressed/bleached/ultra-low waist skinny fit shit.

Levi's are the original jeans that would've been worn in the 50s, but wranglers look cleaner by far, came out in 1947 and are the only jean to be sponsored by the National Rodeo Association (NRA) ya dig. The normal fitting jean would be the 13MWZ, the 70s style with slimmer butt and thighs but flared legs are the 936 "Slim Fit". They are a lot cheaper than Levi's, not shilling just my personal preference.

Slim, my favourite. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0006U6BFM/ref=sxts1?ie=UTF8&qid=1471083675&sr=1&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_QL65

Normal fit: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0006U67YW/ref=sxts1?ie=UTF8&qid=1471083727&sr=1&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_QL65

They also have slacks that i actually just bought, extremely 70s with a really flared leg and slim thigh/butt but still comfortable. Called the "Wrancher".
>>
>>30967872
Just get what you want in the end, but I'd reccomend buying the cheapest pair and just trying those out first since in the end its about comfortability.
>>
>>30967905

How's the fit on the basic 13MWZ?
Do they run large (as one might expect from AMERICAN stuff) or are they true to the marked size?
>>
>>30967913
Its pretty comfortable and not baggy or slim. My waist measures 31inches but i wear a 29 or 30 waist, and i measure 32 length from crotch height, which is what length of jean i have.

Next thread will be a karst dump.

>>
>>30971293

Early 90s Estonian border guard winter uniform. Introduced in late 1993 and worn until approximately 1997. Only a few thousand sets were ever produced, making it the rarest of all Estonian camos (unless you count the unconfirmed "Estonian lizard").

>>
>>30971508
Nothing that wasn't already mentioned in the eBay listing. Many of the oddball uniforms are virtually undocumented because they never made it to the official regulations. To make matters worse, the EDF has never given model designations to issue clothing, so there's no clear-cut timeline for the different types.

>>30971515
Heck if I know. IIRC, some dude was selling a full set on eBay for 200+ some time back.
