You people don't seem to understand the question. Buying 2 handguns from the same FFL in 1 week means that the FFL has to report your name, address and the guns' serial numbers to your CLEO and to the ATF. In border states, many types of rifles qualify for the reporting requirement as well. If a single purchase looks too suspicious, then the ATF may pay you a visit. Even if not, they will still have all the serial numbers from that transfer on file forever.
