Post up those interesting designs that only a small nation could come up with.
Is Sig-550 a 3rd world gun?

Holy shit ventilated metal handguards gives me a stiffy. I have pic related on my SKS, and am thinking about getting Midwest Industries old SS12 handguards on my AR.
>inb4 Taurus and br abortions
Post 'em
>>30944324
Technically, Switzerland was a third world country if you go by the original definition.
First world is NATO-aligned countries, Second world is Soviet bloc aligned countries, and the third world are the countries in between.
I may be misremembering my history, but Switzerland didn't align with NATO until much later.
>>30944538
wrong pic, also forgot to take off name
>>30944195
>slab sided broom handles
THIS ERECTION MAKES NO SENSE
>>30944296
That's a Taurus though.
>>30944417
Sage International makes a ventilated gastube cover for their SKS stock, if you're interested in that (though I don't know if they sell that part separately from the stock set)
>>30944431
Well no, the original definition is industrialized, developed, capitalist countries 'roughly' aligned with the United States.
Roughly.
Guaranteed to feed one magazine flawlessly.
After which the gun is useless and must be discarded.
>>30944675
No.
>>30944675
>stupid on the internet
>>30944417
I was thinking about getting one of these for a Russian one. Yours looks to be Russian so how does it fit? Did you have to modify it to fit at all?
>>30944296
those cute czechs!
Danuvia Voros
Hungary, not many made. Has a helical 30-rd (iirc) 9mm mag. And a 1 pound bolt.

I'm surprised there isn't more glorious Chechnya in here.

Anon, please. Don't be so silly.
It's a RAG-30, by the way.

RAK RAK CITY BITCH
>>30947774
it looks like an old 1911 watergun i had when i was a kid.
>fake slide release
for what purpose?
Also, is that a fucking heel release on the magwell?
>>30945415
Originally it has that "bayonet" thing so you can operate it with one hand by pressing the front against something, but I guess that works too (and looks badass)
>>30947774
They made the trigger guard so small only small gook fingers can fit there and Americans can't use it

Hubba hubba "hand held automatic grenade launcher"

Sure
In a fucking auction.
>>30949121
RAG-30, a Czech 30mm handheld semi-automatic grenade launcher.
>>30948923
>>30949224
>Estimate should be $30,000-$40,000.
Oh dear. No reproductions? Looks like a fun semi-auto rifle.
>>30949332
I can't think of many instances where there have been replicas made of antique bolt/semi auto rifles, dude. And honestly, even if there were, the Mondragón would be way too obscure of a rifle.
>>30945674
Would it have made more sense to take the weight off the barrel and put it behind the grip? Guess that removes the portability.
>>30944045
This would be really cool if the current grip/trigger group was a foregrip and then it had a rear grip/stock, so the trigger was still on the front like that
>>30948153
It's detailed quite nicely in that ripoff pistols forgotten weapons episode- it turns out that a lot of the times these people just copied mechanisms and shit withoutunderstanding how they work. Sometimes you'll see fake bayo lugs, safeties, fake range adjusters, accomodations for double stack mags in a single stack gun etc.

>1943
>Nazi party looks for cheap submachine guns to supplement the MP-38 and MP-40 (as well as a fuckton of other subguns used in less significant numbers)
>initiates the "primitive weapons project"
>only real submission to the contract contest was Erma that submitted the EMP-44
>EMP-44 is made out of crudely welded commercial piping and features a strange set up allowing it to feed from twin MP-38/40 mags
>Design allows for the weapons to be easily assembled by semi-skilled workers in small workshops using parts mass produced in other more complex factories
>Nazi party deems the EMP-44 to be "too primitive" for the primitive weapons project
1944
>Nazi party eventually decides on making a copy of the STEN instead
>It's super fucking expensive because they build a whole fucking factory to produce STEN clones, then shut it down after making like 2000 guns
>Nazi party realizes that old confiscated guns from occupied countries aren't enough to arm the new Volksstrum
>They figure a tube-SMG would be pretty easy to make for cheap in decentralized locations
>They then make an even cruder copy of the STEN called the MP.3008, the MP-3008 is produced in significant numbers in tiny simple workshops, often only the bolts and barrels were factory made
>recievers were made from whatever sort-of appropriate tubing was available to the manufacturer
>MP.3008s were made in real gun factories too
>Almost none were used in combat and most of them ended up being dumped in rivers by the Russians
FUCKING LOGIC!
>>30948037
Yes. It's a fucking mechanical nightmare and makes for strong argument for the proponents of the theory that Kalashnikov didn't actually design the AK, he just got assigned the credit for work captured German gun designers got forced into doing for the Soviets.
That kind of stuff was extremely common in Stalin-era Soviet-Russia.
Armenian Vahan rifle. Level delayed blowback, 5.45x39
>>30951002
>Almost none were used in combat and most of them ended up being dumped in rivers by the Russians
Fucking Soviets, they should've given then to East Germany or some meme satellite state.

this makes the magyar blood sing in my veins.
>>30951620
>giving allies shitty tube guns instead of good quality guns like PPSH or PPS
>>30944431
That's not correct.
>>30951417
What the hell? Stick to the Type-56 knock offs Armenia.
>>30951701
At first they should've just given them to them instead of just tossing them in rivers. Those PPSHs are the most sexy and at the same time disgusting things I have ever seen.
>>30952146
>Type 56 knock offs
They use surplus AK-74s. VAHAN was just a replacement rifle project that competed with the K3, and the control group AK-74. The K3 was more successful in implementation since their special forces using it along with conversion kits. However, it was cheaper to buy more AK-74s than convert them to K3s thanks to Russia selling them in huge bulks with discounted prices.

>not knowing the how the "world" system works
REEEEEEEE
>>30952410
Fucking shame because level delayed actions are neat as hell and in my opinion superior to roller delay.
>>30946909
This is perfectly normal, just the mag comes out of the top not the bottom cos it was made in australia
>>30950705
Let's be honest. Anything from Armenia is a clusterfuck.
>>30948614
