1. Any caliber FMJ is nowhere near as effective as even a 9mm JHP. Don't argue, accept it as fact. There's plenty out there to prove it and the only people that argue against it are people like yourself who can't be bothered to pay $20 for a decent box of JHP.

2. FMJ ballistics can do such weird shit that there was a case where one man literally almost went to jail for what looked like an attempted execution style murder until the guy he shot died in his coma and the autopsy disproved it. The tl;dr: shoots guy running at him, perp has what looks like exit wound for an entry wound on the jaw and what looks like an entry wound as an exit wound at the base of his skull.
