What's the difference between a Marine and a regular infantryman?

Well, Marines can be POGs, too, so I'm assuming you mean Marine Infantrymen as opposed to Army Infantryman.
Slightly different setup for attacking, more suicidal. That's about all besides the doubly over inflated ego of being both a Marine AND an Infantryman. To be fair, if they didn't have the ego, Marines and Infantry in general would probably kill themselves a lot more often when you consider the shit they get put through on a regular basis.
