Should I get a nugget if I can find it for under $200 new or used?
Was watching DemolitionRanch and im sold on it. Seemed to fire TulAmmo 7.62x54r perfectly fine ($9 per 20 on Cheaper Than Dirt). Is that too expensive for 7.62x54R? Even if it were banned or further limitations were put on guns it would probably be fine.
Budget is $600 and I don't need it for home defense right now since ill be in college dorms for at least a year. Should I build my custom AR-15 or should I get a nugget?
General nugget thread I guess.

Given the current political climate, get the AR, mags, and ammo for it first.

Rifle is fine, /k/omrade.
Consult the guide though.

Get the AR.

Fuck off, ARfaggots. Everyone and their mom knows AR is better weapon, but does he want an AR? No. BTFO and stay on topic.

Read the OP you dumbass.
>Should I build my custom AR-15 or should I get a nugget?
>>30796693
if you can find one for less than $150 sure but prices have skyrocketed on them
>>30796826
Not overly attached to either. I just want something useful for under 600 that I can later use for self defense *dons Russian ushanka and charges invader with bayonet*

What part of "political climate" don't you understand you fucking retard?
So obviously AR-15 is America's rifle and parts are everywhere. What parts should I worry about wearing out most on a nugget, and are these parts as easily found and with fair price?
They're almost the same price as Yugo Mausers are now, and ammo isn't nearly as cheap as it used to be, and Yugo Mausers are easily 3 times as nice for maybe 130% of the price.
>tl;dr buy a Yugo Mauser
>>30796887
>Wearing out a nugget.
You won't.
At most, you might shoot the barrel out if you use corrosive and don't clean the gun, or if you fire about 10,000 rounds through the thing, but other than that, I don't think I've heard of them breaking.
I haven't even heard of anyone having fucked up headspacing.

Get the Nugget
Or get a Yugo Mauser, although it's likely to be more expensive
Search online for Nuggets, Classicfirearms I believe still has hex and Finn models available, those are quality Nuggets
Personally right now i would get an ar or ak but if you want a nugget get a yugo mauser.
>pic related is my m48 yugo mauser
Where can one purchase surplus rifles such as the mosin?
>>30796693
If it isn't the Type 53, snatch that up.

Nothing if it is in good condition. The problem is a lot of them are very beaten up. If it's in good condition get it.
OP, i highly reccomend doing this
>buy $50 aluminum lower for AR
>buy 5 or so $8 30rd USGI mags
>buy Yugo mauser because mausers are awesome
This way, even if Hillary bans ARs, you can still have one, along with 30rd mags. Mausers are great rifles.
>anybody who disagrees with me is objectively wrong
>>30799170
Yugo Mausers are the worst Mausers though
>>30799143
I'd looks decent bit for the price it's hard to beat
