Maybe a little touch of the Autism. But you may be able to learn, try other automatics based off what you didn't like about the glock. You might just like the 17 better, or a sig, or an m&p, or just need to handle autos more.

Carry what you like. They do make revolvers with up to 8 rounds in capacity in the most glorious of caliber, the 357 Magnum.

If you practice with speed loaders and have a couple with you, you should be fine.

I actually tried the m&p first and I prefer the ergos of that brand but generally feel the same, just really dislike automatics.

I also really love a nice double action pull, rather than an external safety, or putting one in the chamber and having no saftey at all.

I feel the same way about glocks. I wanted to like them, they are cool looking, reliable and cheap, but they just feel like shit. They are blocky and they don't fit nicely in your hand at all, you need to configure your hand in a certain way to use them effectively. If you like revolvers I'd try shooting a 1911 or a Beretta 92 before you swear off semi autos altogether. They are much more comfortable and have that nice heavy frame that I like for accuracy.

Yeah I was looking at 1911's but it seems like every model that is of decent quality is a grand.

But I can rent some at a range, I've yet to shoot a 1911 so I'll give it a try

The springfield mil-spec 1911s are around 500 and I think they shoot just fine. When I rented one I really enjoyed shooting it. They don't have some of the fancier features of the higher priced ones, but they are good shooters.

I generally hate wonder nines for several reasons:
plastic or aluminum frames make it too top heavy
doublestack mags make the grips fat and square
triggers for idiots too dumb to flip a safety are instead long, heavy, and squishy to prevent ND
finishes that look like black paint

Some autos have good balance, slim grips, and crisp trigger. e.g:
1911, BHP, P210, the SAO steel framed P220 models, P08, and CZ75

Nothing wrong with a revolver my friend.

If you're like me, and want a great gun that might fit your bill then try a makarov. 7/10 gun for 3/10 gun price. Double action with the decocker, steel heft, rounded and very concealable.

New shooters say it's much snappier than other pistols, and I felt that, but since I've gotten used to it, and proper grip it's gone away for me. I also notice new shooters tend to have a few FTFs with it, but I don't anymore. The mag release does suck as well.

Just stick with revolvers. Get a carry size 357, some good speed loaders (safariland comp ii or comp iii) and practice, practice, practice.

Glocks are honestly terrible guns. The only things they have going for them are that they don't explode unless you run high-pressure loads and they're easy to clean. Try a 1911 or something else DA/SA hammer fired.

Glock 19 is the Honda civic of polymer semi autos.

Try a PPQ(M1), FNS9, SIG320 (I can't remember if this is that modular semi they make).
All of which have better ergo, ambi controls and much better triggers and accuracy out the box.

Not at all. I just went to the indoor range yesterday, left my M&P40 at home and just brought my single actions instead. You can have an opinion over what you like shooting and it doesn't have to be the practical choice, anon.
