I can confirm that the Seals prefer the MK25 over the Glock 19 which has only been approved for field use due to request by some members. However in the end the majority still prefer the P226 over the Glock due to it being higher capacity and more reliable.

226 from West Germany. 1989 if I remember those markings correctly. Thousands of rounds through it and still runs like a champ. Bought an Elite 226 a few years ago as an "upgrade" but sold it. Just didn't like it as much for some reason.

I bought a 226 a few years back. I did get the DAK trigger, as I really liked the HK LEM, and wanted to see what Sig's new trigger was all about.

As far as the gun

It was a used, but unfired 5 inch 220 with a stainless slide and adjustble rear sight.

Good gun, it's the model they made pre-beavertail which I prefer.

It's really just a range toy, but I certainly enjoy owning it, as my very first gun was an old 220, and I had to sell it for rent many many years ago.
