Put it in the washing machine with laundry detergent

Dry naturally or in the dryer?
>>30769051
Dip it in the mud hole on the range and lay it in the sun to dry
>>30769077
This is what I do. I put a zip tie around it so it doesn't get tangled around anything. Usually wash them with my rags.

Detergent won't leave anything that can harm the barrel, right?
>>30769051
Throw it in the trash and get one of these.
>>30769145
It shouldn't. The rinse cycle should remove the detergent anyway.

take it to a public laundromat. let the local poors try and get hoppes #9 and lead residue out of their laundry

I have both and prefer the boresnake, fuck fixing patches when you have a washable and reusable device. But hey as long as you stay away from cheap metal cleaning rods you're ok. To answer OP, I wash them with low detergent with some old hospital type rags I use to clean guns. Afterward I just run them under the sink real quick and set them out to air dry.

I just use dish soap, either would be fine im sure - they both cut grease (gun oil)

I use dish soap

put it in an empty gatorade bottle with some detergent. Shake well. Rinse. That way, you don't get lead and shit in your washer.
Throw it in the washer with a load of whites
boresnakes are garbage, and so is your bore if you use one
Empty milk jug filled with soap and water
Washing machine? Jesus man...just imagine the residues on your clothes...

People wash these? I just buy a new one every couple of years.
I think you all clean your guns too often.
