Should I buy a Saiga 12 before this fall?

Sure. Factory reliability leaves much to be desired outside of slugs and 00 buck, though.

Just remember to buy a lightened recoil spring and a new puck if you want to cycle sport loads. I recommend the Carolina Shooters spring and an MD Arms puck. Another optional addon is the TAC 47 Autoplug; it automatically adjusts the gas flow between high and low brass shells after you dial it in.

What's the average price Saiga 12's are going for? I couldn't find one and opted for the Vepr 12 instead which has been a blast so far.
