I live in the US and these guys seem to have good prices on Bakelite mags which I am in desperate need of. Is it legal to buy from these guys since they are based in the UK? If so what is you guys' experience with them?
Also Bakelite thread.
Of course it is, why the fuck wouldn't it be m8?
I buy surplus shit from Russia all the time.
As long as you don't trade with the government you're fine.

Thanks my dude, how long should I expect it to take to get from the UK to Freedomland?

A: see >>30759053
>Of course it is, why the fuck wouldn't it be m8?
B: why would you not just send an email to the company?
>>30759137
UK could be like a week or two, Russia like 2 to 4 weeks.

Thanks fampai
Yes
All government websites are worthless (it's almost like they're purposely obfuscated), but unless you buy more than $99 worth of merchandise (wholesale) a Form 6 permit is not required.
I suggest contacting the ATF though.
>Is it legal
No
>is it safe
yes.

This only applies to "Minor components and parts for Category I(a) and I(b) firearms, except
barrels, cylinders, receivers (frames) or
complete breech mechanisms"
https://www.gpo.gov/fdsys/pkg/CFR-2016-title27-vol3/pdf/CFR-2016-title27-vol3-sec447-41.pdf
I don't know what Category I(a) or I(b) firearms are though. Going through this shit is a damn nightmare.

Oh okay this link clears it up for me: Category I(a) and I(b) firearms are automatic or semiautomatic firearms up to .50 caliber
in AKG someone posted Bakelite furniture

I got all my bakes there and some plums. About 5 transactions, no issues at customs. Go for it.
I remember the demill'd dragunov and an94 group buys and GP-25's that were smuggled in through rusmilitary.
Too bad one bad apple ruined it all for us by reporting it. He was jealous of the money we were making from turning them into parts kits.
>>30765048
I always thought of importing a cut up AN94. Have you heard of any successful attempt to get one in working order?
>>30765048
>Things that never happened
>>30765343
Around six (that I know of) were imported in (old euro spec) deact condition where the barrel was just drilled and filled with lead, this was back when the euro importers didn't know or care that receivers are considered the firearm here in the US.
They immediately went dark because the receiver was FA spec where the barrel was drilled and filled and the receiver was untouched. Completely violated NFA laws.
>>30765373
Do some googling, dodgy deactivated weapon distributors in Europe/England were importing whole rifles into the US before Customs and the ATF cracked down on it.

>CUGIR
Do you have a permit for that explosive device?
>>30765530
I would trust my life to that rifle
>>30761540
Wait how is importing bakes not legal?!
>>30759021
yeah just don't freak out when you get the magazines with no spring, base plate or follower and then those show up in a separate box later
>>30765570
>tripfag trusts his life with a kaboom-tier rifle
Wait wait wait. I must be dreaming.
For real though. I've been off /k/ for some time and my first exposure to CUGIR was some anon talking shit about them a couple days ago.
>>30765599
It only used to be illegal if you didn't have a Form 6 permit because "muh high capacity ammunition feeding device". It's still illegal if you buy $100 or more without a permit.
>>30765607
So "parts kits" for mags are ok? But a complete mag isn't?
That's so fucked up I actually believe it...
>>30765607
Why does this happen often? Why even ship it like that?
>>30765609
They are great quality rifle for the price I paid. Way better thanow any us made shit.
>mines a wasr 10 2015 production not a 10/63
>>30765632
Because then it can be declared as "spare parts" instead of "gun magazine" in the customs declaration.
>>30765762
Oh shit that makes sense. Do I need to contact them for specific request or will they do this automatically?
>>30765991
You should ask the vendor and not an random negator on a Phyrexian body modifications forum
