It's a glock
I can't.
>>30756403
Not an argument.
Seriously though, I'm curious what the user experiences are. Anyone can read a review, I want to hear actual problems or issues people have had with it.
>>30756392
How does the .357 version compare?
>.45ACP
Muh stoppan powah.
>>30756454
I like my Glock(s) except
>finger grooves I find too small/un comfy
>stock sight which I had switched to Trijicon HD's
Aside from that I'm very happy with them.
>>30756392
the flaw is that i like my fingers. fucking glocknade.

Other than that though, they're fine guns and I intend to purchase one some day.
Though I do wish they'd done something closer to a Luger trigger if they wanted a striker fired handgun.
>>30756392
>.45 ACP
>>30756392
Honest answer; I cannot stand the grip angle and overall feel of the gun. I know they're good guns, I know they reliably go bang and have excellent capacity and aftermarket options, but it just feels wrong in my hand. I bring my 213 up, and I feel confident in my sight picture and my shot placement. I can't say that about any Glock I've tried. I'm well aware it's a subjective complaint though.
>>30756392
Super fucking uncomfortable to hold. Blocky, and wrong grip angle.
No manual safety.
>>30756392
Why are the fucking insides visible from the outside?
>>30756454
Actually, if you've been around for any period of time then that is an argument since it encompasses the common issues some users have with glocks
It's just not a list of things that you aren't aware of
>>30756703
This is /k/ friendo, no place for reasonable criticism
>>30757404
Well too bad. I'm gonna be reasonable and subjective about guns I do and don't like, and you can't stop me!
I've had very positive experiences with my Rossi but recognize that their reputation and middling QC makes them a risky buy!

>>30756780
is grip angle really that big of a deal? For any gun I'm shooting I'm focusing on the front sight only while pointing the gun forward so I make quick adjustments on the fly.
>>30757505

There's a reason it's been around that long

>>30757548
>itS only gud cause fuds even though fuds have only been around the last 30 years
>>30757525
It is to me. Grip angle doesn't fully encompass it; the gun feels wrong in my hand. The palm swell, the way it actually feels in my hand, the way the weight distributes, though that last one is more a general issue with polymer frame pistols. I recognize that my complaint is based largely on personal preference. Plenty of people love Glock and like the way they point. I don't.
>>30756392
No safety.
>>30756392
ive had glocks (26 in 9mm "the gentlemans glock"-because you had to have a pinky off of it and a glock 20 in 10mm) and i have to say the xdm i jsut bought feels alot better. i just like the xdm better. really the only non-subjective criticisms i have about glock is the the accessory rail doesnt have enough groovs so i can't get my laser light combo close enought to the trigger to access it with my index finger. also the plastic mags sometimes stick a little on there way out
>>30756392
Its not a Revolver
>>30756502
It's loud as fuck, has more capacity than the 45, but less than the 9mm, and the 9mm can handle +p+, so it's kind of a moot point to get the 357SIG.. and 357 sig plinkin ammo is still double the cost of 9mm.
>>30756543
FBI just awarded glockenspiel a new contract for 17/19. Word around the campfire is they will be finger grooveless.
>>30758161
>Word around the campfire is they will be finger grooveless
Inshallah.
I am a turbomanlet and the finger grooves still feel too small who the H*CK did they design those for?
>>30756392
Not 9mm
Realistically I'm not a fan of Saint Glock because of couple reasons. I'll not a fan of the low side, it makes aiming a bit awkward when compared to my 1911 or my m9. The low slide I also constantly feared hitting my hand in recoil. I also kind of miss having a frame mounted or slide mounted safety, as I like to have my own recognition that pistol CANNOT fire. Also the finger grooves I've heard suck if you have bigger hands, however I don't have meaty claws so I didn't have a problem. One real complaint is the long trigger pull, which I'm not crazy about. Also glocks really lack in customization, but I can understand that if something works, don't fuck with it. Also the thick slide I could imagine being problematic for carry, but I've only used a Glock twice, both times renting from a range. Sorry for my rant.

ugh the hatred for .45 and the baseless love for the 9mm is intolerable. did anybody read the FBI report on why they chose 9mm as their standard. it's as useful as a .45 "with careful ammo selection". I own both calibers, as i'm sure many here do and the recoil diiference and time between follow up shots is marginal. the wound cavity from a 45 jhp is simply bigger .also 230gr 45 is subsonic and with a 'wet' supressor is quieter than a paintball gun
>>30757479
The grip safety bothers me to no end. Makes me think that it could be a factor in failing to fire from the drivers seat or somewhere with zero room to move.
>>30756454
Ugly as fuck.
Shit ergonomics.
>>30758161
I hope so. My dick beaters as Pat Mac would say could do without the grooves.
>>30756392
I do not find Glocks aesthetically pleasing.
Nor do I love the look of a screwdriver. But it's a tool for a purpose. The glock is a great carry gun. But it looks fucking bland as hell.
glock nade
>>30756392
Don't like the sights, don't like the lack of safety.
>>30756392
G21s are fucking bricks.
I like G19s okay, but I'd still take a Sig 320 any day.
>>30756392
it's a reliable pistol.... just get it
>>30756392
It's not pic related
>>30758393
It never would the grip safety just stops the trigger from moving plus you have to have a really shitty grip to not hold it down
it wasn't designed by our lord
>>30756392

>>30756392
Frame crack.
>>30756392

Oh, it's .45. No flaws found thus far.
>>30756392
When is Glock going to make a pistol-caliber carbine? it seems a natch.
>>30759223
holyshit, why does that look so long?
>>30756392

>>30757638

>>30756392
Nice Alchemy Arms Spectre... oh...
>>30759419
That's a .32 conversion cylinder, not the original.
>>30756392
It's legend as being inhumanly reliable is somewhat overblown. Magazines are stiff to to the point of being a chore to reload. Manual of arms for breaking down the pistol leaves too much room for error for dummies. Slide release is too small.
None of these really bother me, but subjectively they just don't get my pee pee hard.
>>30756392
Shit ergos, shit trigger, not particularly great any area except reliability.
>>30756392
Shitty plastic frame. Terrible 6lb trigger with ridiculous long pull. No safety (not that i use them regularly but simetimes it is a good thing to have). Dont get much bang for your buck (just an expression, no terrible pun). Oh and not made in 'Murica, so fuck the piece of shit.
>>30756392
>>30756392
It's not in 9mm. Polymer-frame .45s are too snappy, unless you lift weights or something.
chambered in a weak ass round for starters.
>>30756454
Bulky. Shit trigger
>>30758368
Hate to break it to you but the only -ONLY- real advantage if .45 over 9 is the reliability of cycling in recoil operation
>>30759619
There's a lot I hate about glocks, but if you're too retarded to clear the gun before disassembly you mahouts have your hands on a gun in the first place
>>30758349
>glock trigger long compared to a m9
what planet are you living on
>>30760385
Notice that ALL of the guns pictured are in 40SW.
>>30756392

Either way I still carry one and trust my life on it.
>>30756392
>>30756392
Found it.
>>30756392
Its not a problem solver
>>30757167
This is my only complaint with them. I just don't feel right carrying it loaded cuz shit's more likely to happen.
That and the plastic. I like that it's a whole lot lighter cuz it makes carrying one all damn day much better but sometimes I just get the urge to pistol whip the shit out of something.
I solved that problem by carrying a 357 on my opposite side which adds in an extra level of near foolproof bangin.
Glocks are a great duty gun and I like it but there are much better things out there
As far as the finger grooves and ergonomics go, I have big hands and don't have a problem. I just grip it real tight and keep my wrist locked using my off hand to support (G19 9mm). I did have an issue with the 23 but it's just a little baby you can file down the finger grooves and you're good
It's a must own for a gun user, they're super!
>>30764253
>Buys a G40
>Uses a rear sight red dot mount
If only the Glock 40 came milled to accept red dot sights from the factory
Trigger could be better
>>30756454
I was just giving dude shit. Every glock I have shot has performed flawlessly. It's just not a particularly attractive or exceptional weapon. It's like a Honda civic. Tons of aftermarket parts, but deep down it's just a reliable tool that'll get the job done.
>>30756392
part of your subject matter is out of focus...you asked.
The only true flaw is they havent yet made interchangeable finger groove panels like the back straps
That and they need to stop putting on plastic sights, forever.
>>30756780
>the objective flaw is that I have a quirk
fuck off
>>30756392
comically bad sights, not a fan of the finger grooves, 45 instead of 9mm or 10mm. i love my glocks tho.
>>30757479
>talks about trash
>has a trash AR
>>30764776
better trigger than M&P trigger IMO, ghost connector cleans up glock triggers and its a super cheap part.
