Can anyone ID this eagle on a Mauser stock? The parts are a mismatch, so I'm not sure if the stock is original to the rifle. Thanks for the help

Looks like a Tirol eagle.

Dhats, uh burdie!
Does the UoA35 mean anything to anyone?

What model of Mauser? It looks like a WaffenAmt; "WaA35". Is this a Gew.98 by chance?
Yes it is WaA35. From my bit of research it is an unknown what manufacturer used it, or more likely it is a fake stamp used to try and increase the guns value.

Yeah, it doesn't look like any WaffenAmt I've ever seen; I thought it might be a very early Weimar one.
Rifle was 350 and no one pitched it as a "super rare SS"

Then again none of the numbers seem to match so who knows where the stock came from

Have the flat or lange rear sight? Still full military length? If it has the flat rear sight it is a GEW98M. Though being mismatched it is probably a pieced together barreled action.

Thanks for the help btw

Glad to help. Some more info: these were converted in about 1935 or so (the S/42G on your rear sight means it was done at Mauser in Oberndorf) and used until K98 production was in full swing and a ton were sent to Spain which is probably where yours came from.
