no
its alright. i was fulltime and housekeeping at a hospital a while ago before i got jury duty.i made quite a bit then since you get paid extra for working around mentally ill people and cleaning up after them (11.50 x 40 a week). it was a lot for someone with only a year of college anyways. im thinking about teaching in the future but im not really sure. ideally id like to get an english degree so i could get some classes for writing but i have no idea how id make any decent money

1. My boss is the VP of Finance and Operations. He lives in a nofuns state and has zero knowledge of police, military or security concepts. He told me to my face that putting a hand on your (in a level 3 holster) service weapon is the exact same as shooting an unarmed black kid. When I think about him saying some stupid shit I get a fucking nosebleed. The rest of the upper level staff are basically all female copies of Lumberg from Office Space. Our company is giving money to Hillary Clinton.

2. Last week I had a mother of seven kids come in with her boyfriend(?). They both made no effort to control their children and were either mentally challenged or on drugs, or both. There are a lot of idiots who can't follow instructions or can't read (as in illiteracy).

3. So many people will flip out over nothing. I have to search people and run them through a metal detector. I have had people call me racist, threaten me, all for just that. Asking people to sign in causes some to say "you got an attitude boy?" On the upside, I have full arrest powers and the final authority on who goes in and out, which I take advantage of.

On the flip side, sometimes I get to do cool stuff (pic related) and it's easy for me to move to the police when I'm ready.

no

not particularly, but it pays the bills. I want to move to a different position soon, something more technical and less business focused.
>>
>>30746278
Not without you filling out a 4473. Each for is associated with a NICS Transaction Number (NTN). When a check is ran, an NTN is assigned to that paperwork and under our account. The ATF keeps track of the background checks we run during an audit so they will know if there are any missing 4473 forms.

Did you have a concerns regarding background history?

Now he lets all the teenagers and shit come out there and swim and fuck off. He got this guy he knew to watch over the place and moved a camper out there for him, I got the chance to talk to him one day

But has Parkinson's pretty badly, and skin cancer as well but has no money to take care of it so he just sits out there by the lake all day, he loves it out there so thats where he is gonna stay till he eventually dies. Not quite sure, especially since I can't access the USMA Regulations from here. If I do get kicked out for academic purposes, I may not have to pay anything back at all. As opposed to honor or severe regs violations, for which you get kicked out and have to pay the Army back, getting separated academically can actually be considered "not my fault." Warehouse Consolidator (Fancy term for Order Shipper)
>Is it operator related?
No, but it requires a lot of physical labor and tetris-style problem solving.
>Do you like what you do?
It's OK. I've worked in this facility twice in the last ten years in almost every available capacity, so when I went back last year (chasing better pay, DESU) I was well-received as a veteran of the company.
I've become my supervisor's right-hand man and or bitch. He either pulls me aside for special tasks like irregular shipments or to run and grab shit that hasn't made it to us when it was supposed to.

Put it to you this way, the job is worth it, in that since I started there in September, I've had the money to buy a handgun and build an AR, where as in my previous job working a retail store for the same company I could barely scratch together enough dosh for a WASR.

That dat tape is wonderfully old as you can see with the price.

Sometimes I have to bust out 5.25" disks too.

Fuck no. Unless you're retarded enough to walk in front of a sixty year old still trying to shoot or some retard decides to fire buckshot at clays, you're safe as fuck. Ricocheting shot from sport shells will sting, but not penetrate.

USAF EOD

It's alright. I sit at a desk for eight hours a day and pretend to be busy, occasionally sign out a demo block to someone for some reason or another, sign them back in unused a few days later, and spend weeks coming up with the exact same contingency plan we've used for years, now. I also have to pretend like I'm an important member of the HAZMAT team, I guess, and just generally wait to get deployed so I can operate a bomb robot twice in six months, both times to defuse old landmines some kid found near the base.

It's a comfy job.
>>

Blow them up.

It's easier to just BIP everything than bother with actually defusing it. Only plebs without access to explosives actually lay hands on them.

I can't actually disseminate RSPs. That's a big no-no.

That said, there's no rule about linking some independent guy defusing the most common landmine in the world that is almost never equipped with anti-handling devices and really can't be.

A couple of girls in 2016 (which used to be my class) branched Armor and four went Infantry. The IN girls are gonna have a rough time at Ranger School--all of them are in great shape, but they're all petite. There is no extra mass for them to shed once their body goes catabolic during Mountain Phase. But yeah, the first male/female ABOLC class started a week ago.

I'm not personally a fan of the females in combat arms experiment, but for the most part I respect the female cadets that I know that aspire to infantry and armor. Honestly, they're easier to relate to than the girls that got in for volleyball or soccer and just want to branch AG

Not really, but they had me woke my a Google X test site in Alameda for a while, company called Makani power. They make weird energy kites that look like drones. Pretty neat. Nowadays I sit at a desk overnight six days a week for $20/hr, an occasionally pull overtime for dat cashmoney. I support myself, my girl, and just had a baby... Still have plenty left over to build guns and soup up my 73 beetle.

I hate it because my income is really unstable because I work for commissions, and my hourly pay is just above minimum wage.

The upside I guess is that I am pretty much my own boss with a sales quota of "Sell a thing a year, and you're good." I run my own business in that, for extra cash I do grunt work for other sales agents and make a few extra bucks.

Not operator related (not unless wrestling junkies and 5:30 in the morning counts and operating), but my conscription made standing up for 10 hours straight seven nights in a row easy peasy. >What do you do for a living /k/?

Assistant Security Supervisor.

>Is it operator related?

Not really. Hypothetically, I'd deal with trespassers who could hypothetically be violent, but my site's threat model makes security mostly a "keep an eye out for maintenance issues" sort of job, and security management a "make sure the employees are wearing their uniforms properly and don't forget how to breath" sort of job.

80% of my job is thumb-in-the-assery, 19% of it is administrative stuff like making sure the employees get paid right, handling vacation requests, informing the employees of policy changes, and editing post orders as needed.

1% of my job is actually managing emergencies, and of that 1%, 99% of emergencies I've dealt with involve my own employees wrecking themselves, with the other 1% being equipment failures causing false alarms.

>Do you like what you do?

It's pretty laid back work most of the time, and pays just enough to keep me doing it. I don't particularly love it, but I don't hate doing it either.
