Is this stuff ok to grease the rails of my SIG? What do you guys use?
>>30743236
Sure, people use all kinds of grease
>mobil 1 synthetic wheel bearing grease
>lubriplate
>plastilube
>tetra
>hoppes (you can buy at big 5)
>>30743236
Yes. I use valvoline on my glawk, sks, .22's, and shotguns without any problems.

Not sure about that but I use milcomm tw25b and when I run out, I might buy some of pic since milcomm is pretty expensive

> Supertech

That's the exact shit I use on all my guns.
Seems to do the job just fine.
>pic unrelated

What would be good in a revolver? I really do not want to be taking it apart often as it's an antique that is a bitch to take apart and everything I've seen seems to gum up eventually.
>>30743236
Perfectly fine. If you live in a cold climate you might have to switch to oils during the colder months.

Can you use silicone lubricant in a firearm?
>>30743236
I use Lucas Red N Tacky #2 grease for bolts on all my rifles.
I do not use it on my pistols because I do not want the thicker grease to attract lint and dust that may compromise operation of my handguns when I need them most ( conceal carry concern )

guy at my local gun store told me he used to take his reolvers and just boil them in water to clean them, no joke.
His guns were old too.
I'd say just goat the thing in lots of ballistol and you'll be good bud.

Is it yellow or red?
I use this shit myself. Has served well on both AK bolt rails and AR threads.
