You need a bushing wrench you nigger, rotate the bushing and remove it.

Push in button. Rotate bushing one way to remove spring, the other way to remove the bushing.

Push slide back to removal position, push retention out. This is the biggest pain for me, mine always gets stuck.

I think he is talking about putting in the slide stop and how some times on shittier 1911's the barrel lug will get in the way. You then have to use gravity to line it back up and pop it in perfectly.

My Colt does not have this issue, My RIA does.
