I'm looking at getting myself a bullpup rifle, I like them I've worked with the L85 and I was just wondering which one is currently the best on the market at the moment. Or should I hold out to see the reviews of the F90?

IIRC, aren't L85's import banned?

The K&M M17S is the closest thing to the L85 currently on the market.

Fs2000 is your best option, but also the hardest to find and the most expensive.
Next is the AUG. Some will say it's better than the FN, but I don't. It's still fantastic though and has the best mags for a 5.56 rifle.
After that is the Tavor. Great rifle and has the best aftermarket of parts.
After those 3 you have all the new comers/small ball players. The M17s, the Norinco 97, the RDB&RFB and the x95.

Isn't the Fs2000 a little bulky?
>>30741909
Also I like the look of the Aug, what sort of price range is reasonable for it.

Yes and there are no kits as far as I know.

Not once you shoulder it. It's the most comfortable rifle I've ever fired.
>>30742080
Between $1600 and $2050.

This. General opinion is that it feels better than it looks.

How do the internals compare between the 2000 and the Aug?
>>30742102
They made semi autos in the US and there are a couple <6 posties in the country. Memory is hazy as I was told both examples were absolute shit and it isn't a design I'm interested in.
Here's one from 09.

"Here's one from 09."
What?
>>30742203
AUGs are very simple.
Jesus, I hadn't looked at what AUGs were going for now, I got mine for $1600.
>>30742172
Gonna be honest, never fired an FS2000, but they feel like shit when I shoulder them.
>>30742206
A company called Prexis made 80% blanks and sold them with parts kits. The parts & blank cost $2500 total and were not a hit on the market.

AUG first, FS2000 second I suppose. Rest are range toys at best.
I got both stocks for my AUG. The Steyr mags are awesome, but compatibility with my other rifles has me leaving the NATO on it more often than not.
MDR. The production was set back by a year by a fire and a strike at a supplier, but should be shipping in the next few months.
