Wherever the lady wants to go. We have not discussed it yet. She wants to go behind lake keechelus. The Iron Horse trail goes back there. I have been there for work at 2am on the back of a snowmobile and by aircraft, but never recreational on foot.

>>

Sweet. What's the craziest rescue you've been part of?
>>
>>30740774

Not really a "rescue" but an "extraction" from an unstable scene. Mom gave birth to a child somewhere in the cascades in a snow storm with no road access and there were complications. Had to deal with complications on scene, package both of them up after stabilizing and use a polaris ATV with tracks to get them out.

How do you carry your rifle when you're backpacking? I don't want to sling it front because that just looks weird, but putting it on the pack it seems like the weight would throw your pack off balance.

here again. I blessed Kitsap Rifle and Revolver Club with the dulcet tones of muh nugget. First time at the range with it, and two boxes fired with only one 2x4 bolt release needed. Pic related is my groups at 100 yards, half standing half bench rest. Yes it sucks but I literally Disney know how to load the thing right when I woke up this morning.

Texasfag who pretty much wanted to live in your state after I lived in Germany.

Don't want to get too much into that story but basically I want to live there. I hate living in the desert. I would want to live somewhere green, somewhere where I can enjoy the great outdoors. Not on no plain bullshit with no moutains or shit. Thus came your state and pretty much the region there. It just how I want it to be and I feel my life would improve, even if I fuck it up a bit. I want to live up there.

So how is it for a transplant up there? How is the gun laws down here comparable to yours up there? We have the same tax system so that doesn't bother me.

>pic related is a bonus you guys seemed to gain after I wanted to move up there.
>>
>>30743603

How the offroading in yourstate? Are some of the better shooting spots out where you need to have a 4x4. Also can you shot anywhere that looks safe?

In my city they just tell people to go way out into the desert and make sure you are not by buildings.

Tacoma is cheaper than Seattle. Can commute to Seattle if needed. It is redder than Seattle and King County in general. Just stay away from Lakewood and you'll do fine.

Bonus is Point Defiance Park and can drive to Mount St. Helens or Mount Rainier.

Open carry is legal, you can't shoot recreationally in national parks but you can carry any way you can legally in the rest of the state.
Some areas are closed to target shooting such Tinkham.
If you simply want to hike with a rifle there is absolutely no problem with that. Just don't be shocked if people give you a strange room and park service should you encounter them will probably ask you what's up.

Dude, my dad* has 5 jobs he works making software and integrating them because there are so many jobs to choose from. You'd literally have millions the first 5 years you live here if you take up as many jobs as you can handle.

*he's not my real dad, but I knew him since I was born nd I'm over at their house with my brother/friend almost every day

Seriously, he's so rich he just recently bought one of the most expensive trailers on the market and their whole family is living in it because they can. Just because they can. It cost him $2.5m for everything. And all he does is sit at home and make and integrate software.

Do it, man.

I don't know where you got uninhabited out of my post. I take it that it was simply their residence then? If so my mistake, when I saw "somewhere in the cascades" and no roads I assumed innawoods, not some recluse homesteaders. In either case the sentiment still kinda stands though I guess.
