Whats the highest price you have payed for a blade or will pay?
>>30737146
I pad $200 for a military grade Spyderco. Why? Because I'm a fucking idiot.
>>30737146
Ive paid 300 bucks for hand forged knives. I have several blacksmiths that i deal with.
>>30737146
>payed
It is spelled, "Paid."
I hope you aren't American.
>Willing
I'm currently saving up to pick up an Albion long sword and plan on getting a custom scabbard for it, maybe from Christian Fletcher or Sonny Suttles. Will go well over $1000 with the scabbard
>>30737376
No silly im Floridan
>>30737146
$350 for a custom fixed blade that I bought for myself as a college graduation present.
$2400.
Shiro/SIDIS Poluchotky. I collect.
>>30737146
No more than 50$
>>30737425
So much eye candy at Albion. They also have a military discount, which is nice.
Everyone seems to be going apeshit over the Ringeck, but the Fiore looks like the exact same blade and guard, but with a wheel pommel instead. If the Ringeck gets bought out, Hello Fiore.
>>30737146
$300 for an HK (read: Benchmade) OTF
I have never paid anything for a knife, but my parents bought me an OKC 499 for <$50 one year during Hanukkah. Still have it, and it's probably the only fixed blade knife I'll ever own.
>>30737639
What the fuck makes a knife worth 2 grand?
Is it made from iridium?
>Please don't say "it's a limited edition" bullshit
Limited does not a $2400 knife make.
>>30737682
The ringeck was the one I was thinking about. However the landgraf and agincourt are also tempting
The pommel on the ringeck is one of my favorite designs for cutting.
>>30737146
87$
$410

>>30737146
>will pay

even if he isn't a native English speaker there's no excuse since 4chan has automatic spell check.
>>30738241
>since 4chan has automatic spell check.
It's not even 4chan, it's basically every browser made in the last 8 years.
Since i am more of a Bush/k/raft person rather than a /k/ommando, I buy knives which have high durability and are easy to maintain, The highest i paid was for Condor Discord Machete = 100$
I dont have any fancy folding knives either (I own 2 folders)
But the most i would be willing to pay would be for
Lionsteel SR-1 which is 190€ =208$
>>30737146
The Chris Reeve Sebenza 21, available for only $410 through KnifeCenter.
>>30738553
This is a thread for stating how much you'd pay for a blade, not advertising inferior shit you wish you could afford in 20 years' time
The most expensive knife i have was $300, unless you count shipping (i live in yurp)tax and customs - then i've spent about $650 on it.
>>30738773
Friend plz. $410 is pocket change.
well, I sold this one for $460 last week...
and this one for about $800.
>>30737639
Post pics so we can judge you harder.
>>30738813
In your dreams, poorfag.
>>30737146

>>30737146
I have 3 $150 blades, all of which are pretty much just for fun. The most expensive blade that I actually use was like $30.
>>30738901
>"$410 is more than I can afford. If I can't afford it no one can!"- a poorfriend
>>30738987
More than being able to one should question whether one should.
>>30738987
>>30738993
I'm not saying no one can afford to buy a 400 dollar knife. I'm saying sebenza fag can't even aford a mora, so he keeps posting to hide his pain (you know, like the people who are most vocal about hating fags are probably gay).
>>30737146
$40. That's about as much as I'm willing to pay. Maybe up to 80
>>30737146
$30.
50 bucks, and I better be able to pry open a manhole cover with it.
This just made me realize I've spent more money on blades than firearms.
What the fuck have I been doing with my life?
>>30739506
>What the fuck have I been doing with my life?
Buying lots of cheap knives or a few very expensive ones.
Or maybe a moderate amount of pricey ones.
>>30739526
>Buying lots of cheap knives or a few very expensive ones.

Most I dropped on just one blade was around half a grand. Wasn't my money though.
I'm just trying to come up with excuses to buy more guns.
>>30739623
>half a grand
May I ask what sharp piece of metal you acquired for this hefty sum of dosh?
>>30739673
Let's not pretend every body doesn't think to themselves at some point that they should get a sword.
>>30739684
>he bought a sword
You're okay in my book.
$415 for a dagger. Also paid $275 each for two push daggers.
$75 for a surplus OKC muhreen bayonet. Wanted that OIF vibe.
Next was.probably the Circle 10 bayonet. Think it was $30-45.
I spend $7 on Amazon Tac force pocket knives. Bought two last April and I still carry them daily. Use the fuck out of them, they're still sharp. When they break I'll toss em and buy another one.
$60 for a Spyderco Endura seven years ago, and it's still going strong as my EDC knife. Love that thing.
two hundo
>>30739750
What kind of push daggers? I spent around $250 on a Colonelblades LowVz a year ago.
$140 for pic related
>>30741911
Looks great.
30€
Yes I'm a poorfag but it's not the only reason, I can't justify paying 100/150€ for a knife when the exact same knife is sold for 30% less in the US.
>>30741930
I dig it
>>30741911
$140 for an elmax blade sounds pretty fucking good
>>30741980
I really thought the bidding would go higher. I won on 138 bucks.
>>30741859
Mercworx's Seraphim.
>inb4 mall ninja
>>30743541
Nice. I can't criticize, in addition to my LowVz I have a Clinch Pick. The Mercworx knives are pretty cool, I wish he made the Shiva in a 7.5" OAL profile. I think I heard about Mercworx first from a Larry Correia book, or maybe a Marcus Wynne one.
>>30737146
