been to enough meets and ranges and seminars and training courses and stuff where people are mostly reasonable. Getting assblasted replies from about half of the people here on the board is an indicator of what kind of people you are going to be mingling with.

Since it's a public range I'd recommend leaving std. capacity magazines at home. People have brought non-compliant weapons and mags and it hasn't been an issue yet, but I'd prefer it to stay that way.

When it comes to innawoods and innadesert it's pretty much all fair game.

Biggest concern that comes up, but DESU think regular 20-30 somethings with more memes. I've met only 1-2 people that genuinely put me off and that's in over 2 years of attending both /k/ and /o/ meets regularly, and met well over 100 different people between the two.
Now there will be memes, there will be banter and ball-busting and just MAYBE someone will wear a silly outfit as a joke but that's just the 4chan way. If you're not into that, you wouldn't have a good time. The minimeets are a good chance to try it out and see what you think.

There are also people of a very wide variety of backgrounds (because we are in the SF Bay Area) including people of various races and sexual orientations. This has never caused any issues, but /pol/tards that drink the stormfag cool-aid might be out of their comfort zone. They typically stay home and shitpost, for which I am generally grateful.

As for shenanigans, yes there are some misadventures but that's half the fun. I swallowed some 100% DEET during the last campout which sucked for me but it was funny and made for a cool story. No one has ever gotten seriously hurt or in legal trouble, we're actually very safe.

So tl;dr:
