Hey /k/, how good are these boots for innawoods/hunting type activities? Ive never been that good at picking out boots so i was hoping y'all could help me

>hiking
trail runners are the standard now
>Hunting
stand hunting, it doesnt really matter, wear whatever is comfortable; stalking would go for some kind of waterproof hikers like keen
>innawoods
probably want something that will last longer, maybe try danners or haglofs
>>30731057
Any particular socks to go with them?
>Break-in period
When will this meme ever die
>>30731168
someone post the screencap of the last guy who thought the break in period for boots is a meme

Waterproof wellingtons with boot cut jeans. blouse the jeans into the boots if you're going to wade in water or deal with mosquitos or chiggers. thats my go to with a pair of wool socks.
I'd recommend these for innawoods
And this is a lighter duty version. These won't look bad with jeans or chinos actually.
Bit off topic but I work loading trucks, not exactly steel toe necessary but I still like having the ankle support and grip. What's a good pair of boots that I can also use as a goto in shitty weather? Preferably something that'll last a few years.
OP here, thanks for the recommendations so far, but i have another question. My remington bag is fucking dead, i can pull its straps apart with my bare hands and its crumbling in places, what do i replace it with keeping in mind hunting and innawoods

Though I'm not a huge fan of assault packs covered in PALS webbing, those are usually pretty durable. GoRucks are expensive, but their cordura construction makes them one of the most indestructible backpacks ever.

here you go bud
I just picked up some Georgia Boot Diamond Trax for innawoods. I've been breaking them in on a few short hikes and dog walks, and I've gotta say I'm really happy with them so far.
I've been getting some rub behind the ball of my right foot, but it's improving as I get more wear on them. They're work boots, so they're not really breathing like hiking boots normally would. However, I bought them for SHTF and camping, so that hasn't been a real issue yet.

I sell boots, so maybe I can help.
What matters more than brand is your feet. Wide ugly feet like keens. Long narrow feet like Solomons. What kind of feet you have and what kind of shit you'll be doing are the important questions here, not brand or memes.

Are you serious?

>stitched soles
literally garbage m8 basically neckbeard redditor boots
get Merells with glued soles for quality
>>30735123
Norweigan welts are heavy, but provide excellent footing and an optinon to resole your favorite comfy boots for $50 instead of spending $300 on a new pair
also
>Merrell
>Quality
Choose one and only one

Get what you pay for but merrell has been an affordable option for use and abuse rock trails. Better options yes but they get ripped up almost as quickly and cost quite a bit more. Either way better and more comfortable than my leftover army boots

>Implying break-in and trench foot are related
>>30737570
They aren't unless you have retards in the platoon then it is hilariously tragic
>>30742558
Weeew it's not the 70s anymore anon.

I ordered a pair of Palladiums; they're comfortable for casual wear but shit for operating. It's canvas glued to cheap rubber.
They do look nice though
Never had a problem with Meindl and would recommend them to anyone.
They're very, very well made. I've neglected and abused my Meindl Toronto's for two years and they're still in adequate condition.

These are great
