Read up on it. It's a versatile round, essentially made for reloaders. Buying pre-made ammo for it is impractically expensive.

I have owned a .50 beowulf for a long time. It's fun novelty rifle. The recoil is bad without a brake but it's not meant for rapid fire anyway. It's a devastating round. Look at the ballistic tests on youtube. It flies through common barriers like paper. I never feel under gunned at my home.
