Is this the best 9mm ever made?
>>30668676
>cz
>>30668676
No, it's the Glock 17 ;^)
>>30668740
Seconded
>>30668676
Don't think there can be a best 9mm ever made when they're coming out with better models every year. Honestly the cz75 isn't even my favorite metal frame pistol.
>>30668760
What is your favorite then?
>>30668775
Glock 17
>>30668775
beretta 92 probably.... or the g17 :^)
>>30668775
Oh metal framed. That would be the beretta 93
>>30668842
Obv mean 92
>>30668718
What is wrong with cz?

>>30668676
yes. I prefer the compact version though.
>>30668676
According to my japanese animes, yes.
>>30670990
my hands are too big for the 19
>>30671399
My pinky falls off the bottom of the grip.
I can still carry it around in public though.
cz 75 wasn't the ORIGINAL wonder nine for nothin'

>walnut is the best wood in the world for pistol grips
What possible basis could there be for this statement?

Walnut is pretty sexy.

Yes
>>30671438
Not sure, I don't really care though because at least he says wood.
SP-01's rubber grips are the best type of grips ever, wood a shit.
>>30671449
>>30671478
I'm partial to hickory. A friend said maple is damn near unbreakable. I'm not convinced it isn't fudd lore.
>>30668676
Close, but no. The best 9mm ever is the Browning Hi-Power.
The CZ breaks trigger return springs.
>It breaks trigger return springs
>WTF
The Glock is also excellent, but the grip and trigger suck by comparison. Also ugly.
>>30668676
Absolutely
I'd take the external safety over the decocker, personally.
>>30671079
have some 75 friend
>>30668676
It is good enough that it is in the discussion. That should be enough to make a fan of anything happy.
>>30668740
first of all, that's not a glock 19
second of all, glock is the honda civic of guns. if you dumb motherfuckers seriously think a honda civic is the end all be all of cars, because it's reliable and cheap, then you can leave this board immediately.
cz75 a shit. pic related is superior handgat.
>>30674244
Isn't the Jericho 941 a CZ 75 clone?
Call me sentimental, but I'm going to have to go with this one...
I got one recently, am I cool now?
>>30675492
Gross dude, don't put it on the floor.
>>30675531
My bad. Ill put it back where it belongs.
>>30674952
pretty much
>>30674952
Yup.
CZ wins again.
I've got my gun bases covered (no .22 but meh) and I'm more of a revolver guy, but CZ guns have really caught my eye, both the original CZ 75 and the new stuff like P-07. I think one of those will be my third in line for purchases
>>30668676
If by best you mean a spray-painted Hi-Power, then yes.
>>30676254
Yeah I don't like the finishes on the CZ 75's, but I would take it over the Hi-Power.
>>30671601
The only completely accurate answer in this entire thread. Thank you.
Have the choice between a retro Jericho 941 in pretty good condition for 360$ or a new CZ75 compact or P-01.
I'm conflicted.
My CZ75B in .40 is pretty fucking dicks.
>>30671438
As far as I know, Walnut is a soft wood, which allows for easy personal texturing.

>>30676903
I would ride the Hi-Power's dick. It's my favorite gun
>>30668676
iv had to send my CZ back twice since i got it a year ago
also iv had two chamber explosions because of the unsupported chamber
Using this thread to ask: what's the smallest 9mm I can get. I want a good CC pistol, but I don't want to have to buy another stockpile of ammo when I already have a shitton of 9mm.
>>30678195
My first pistol. It's great.
>>30671601
>The CZ breaks trigger return springs.
Practically every gun will break trigger return springs at some point. Also, CGW seems to have finally created a solution to this "problem" - for non-Omega models at least.
The 92FS is the only gun I've never seen malfunction. My current one has over 20 years of use. Going to upgrade it with those Israeli wrap around railed grips soon to so I can retire it to nightstand only duties once the PX4 compact carry arrives.
They even make great suppressor hosts.
Want pic related but not paying the premium on it.
By the way Wonder Nines are DA/SA and double stack of which the Smith and Wesson 59 is the granddaddy that magazine writers literally coined the term for.
>no
>>30678580
That's a lie actually. It malfunctioned (failure to lock back on empty mag) a couple months ago for the first time with tula steelcase. Forgot as it's so out of character + morning hehe. So once in 20 years. Not bad and its still never failed to go bang when fed.

>>30678542
I had never heard of a gun breaking trigger return springs until someone on /k/ posted about their sick CZ. I thought that sounded like a very weird failure and googled...and discovered that it actually is a thing with CZ's.
Gunsprings should not break. They may gradually weaken and get unreliable (i.e. recoil springs or the extractor spring on a BHP after a LOT of use), but breaking is a serious defect in design or heat-treating.
Agree that the CGW springs look like a great option, but it reflects badly on CZ's QC or else the design of the CZ that this would ever be a problem.
>>30683079
>I had never heard of a gun breaking trigger return springs until someone on /k/ posted about their sick CZ.
It has become somewhat of CZ meme - not that the TRS's aren't wear items on them, especially OEM ones. They just aren't as fragile as many would have you believe, and their recommended maintenance schedules are similar to plenty of other pistols - Beretta for example recommends changing the TRS every 5,000 pulls. Plenty of people probably get far more out of them of course, ditto CZ.

Aren't very many pistols that''ll go for tens of thousands of rounds without breaking or wearing out something, yet anyone only ever seems to bitch about CZs.
sig p226
>>30668676
There are so many different 9mm that play different rules. What you should be saying is gun X is the best cc 9mm and gun Y is the best full size 9mm and gun Z is my favorite range toy 9mm.
With so many guns there can never be the best "gun".
the cz 75 must be the pistol of /k/

I want the m9a3 very badly as well.
I am very fortunate and can order them through my local mil base tax/ffl fee free. Just can't spare the 8-9 hundo just yet. But I'm eyeing it hard cuase I have a ton of m9 mags already, which I'm hoping are interchangeable.

Nope, but you're close.
>>30685163
>yet anyone only ever seems to bitch about CZs.
FYI, there was one bad batch of slide stops on a shipment of CZ-75B's around 10 years ago, that were all recalled and replaced for free. Yet ignorant idiots still repeat this rumor.
>>30671019
Why?
I am between cz75 compact or fullsize and glock 19.
Should I, /k/?

I got a pre b for a price that was a little high but it supported a local gin store so I dont feel bad about the purchase at all.
It shoots very nicely. He also gave me an original box for it.
All these replies, and not one Swiss CZ clone. May I present the Sphinx 3000
>>30685911
why does not being able to own something matter? sonoda has shot rental guns before, and its obvious he's done a lot of research on guns. GSC has the best depiction of firearms of any comic book i've ever read, eastern or western.
