So /k/ recently I've gotten the oppurtunity to go shooting with my old grandfather, and what intrigued me the most about our trip was the gun that he brought with us on the trip. Its a semi automatic Remington Nylon 66 chambered in .22 and in all black and I was wondering if any of you could figure out how much it costs.

To a collector and with the original box, depending on year, it might be worth $350.
In most cases, I would expect a good condition Nylon to be $150-$250. They aren't particularly common, but are functionally inferior to both the Ruger 10/22 and Marlin Model 60, both of which outcompeted it in the market.
Or did you mean original MSRP?

What can you tell me about the serial numbers and the other models compared to the value of this?
Look for the Brazilian copy made by cbc they used the same factory tooling but have less collector value, which means a cheaper buy if you're looking to use it

There should be a number on the barrel, left side, near the rear sight.
Can you take a picture of it? Remington serial numbers can be dated, but the barrel code is more agnostic of model.

From the serial number, I know it is post 1977, probably early 1980's.
