Well, she never knew anything since she was a girl and it was impolite to talk about that stuff with women. My dad used to help him out and he said that right up until he died, he was living in a small house next to a river on the clackamas river or something. I was never in and my Dad never had a ton of pictures, either that or they were stolen when I was much younger when our house was broken into and they stole his blues and other uniforms.

The way the country is changing, it'll be legal to enjoy in moderation for enlisted I'd say in 8-10 years, but for the here and now you need to stay totally clean. This is for a number of reasons. Imagine if you were chilling indoors playing some xbox after duty hours, you've got a nice spliff halfway burned, you're enjoying yourself immensely and you're high as fuck just lost in the game.

Then you get a gas alarm and struggle like a panicked idiot for a good 8 minutes to get your mopp gear on because you're too blitzed to keep track of zippers and ties under insane pressure.

Serve, get yourself dinged up, earn a degree, get out, legally smoke all you like while working to better yourself and become a more productive and educated man.

Weed is a life changing and wonderful thing, but the military isn't supposed to be comfortable. That's why they pay you.
