It's not uncommon to have "one" pair of boots get parts replaced over and over again for 40-50 years with these guys. If you don't need tacticool door kickers they're fantastic woods boots. They're still made in the US so there's no quality drop.

>good, solid folding knife
I have one of these and they're great utility knives. They'll do everything from cooking to whittling to unbaling hay or straw. I still recommend carrying a full tang fixed blade knife innawoods but if you're going with a folder the 110 is a solid choice.

In my experience, we only weren't allowed to dig holes because we did them in retarded places and were at risk of collapsing the shed or foundation.

The "forester tent" works best when the top line goes from a tree to the ground. Then you just secure the other two corners with rocks and you're good to go. This is also called a bat wing tent by some.

it's also not a good idea to buy the blue ones. they allow more light to pass through and are more visible. They are also generally made by shit companies and they fall apart easy.

Thing is you've got no way of telling how long is left on the fuse - you might have 10 seconds, or you might have 1. Because of that you only want to be interacting with a grenade for the shortest time possible. Whilst there is a small chance that it'll explode right when you kick it, it's much, much more likley to go bang on you if you grab hold of it for the 3-4 seconds you'd need to throw it.
