Whenever I pocket carry pic related I keep it in the same pocket as my phone, but stack them so my gun is closer to my body and the phone is on the outside
that way the inevitable printing is just of the phone, can't see the gun at all. Theres a chance its visible when I have my phone out of my pocket, but thats not very often

The advantage of wearing cargos when pocket carrying - even when you don't use the extra pockets - is that the shape of the lower pockets helps concealment. I distinctly see the bulge of the gun, but the pocket breaks up the shape and makes it seem plausible that it's a phone. Without the pocket there it'd be pretty obvious you were carrying.

I do this with my wallet sometimes, same effect and I can draw relatively easy. The appeal of pocket carry to me is not having to dick with a holster. This ensures I carry every time I leave the house, because it's simple and easy. Every holster I've tried has been uncomfortable or insecure, one day maybe I'll find a good one.

I live in Oklahoma and work at a home improvement store in the lumber department. Cargos provide extra pocket space for tape measure, department phone, notepad, and a box knife. They're also long enough to help protect my knees from some of the debris that gets on the ground.

I'm a lard ass and I pretty much always wear long sleeves and pants when I'm outside, especially at shooting matches or doing outdoor work. It keeps the hot wind off and allows my sweat to cool me better. Also protects the skin from the sun. And I don't look 12 years old, but that's a minor point.

For anyone that might be in OP's boat, wearing cargo shorts is a nono. Yes they're neat and you can carry shit in them, but don't do it. Wear basketball shorts (above the knee) or blue jeans, slacks, or khakis (however you spell it). But don't go the other way and overdress. I'll admit I've done it before, I like to dress nice.

Looks fine to me. I pocket carry all the time with my CW380 in a pouch that was made for a PDA (it has a hard plastic insert sewn in that was made to protect the screen, it makes my gun look like an iphone in my pocket)

Those are ugly shorts though, I kind of get the hate. I have cargo shorts that I wear while working but I don't really wear them outside of that.
