There isn't anything really wrong with the 92, hell, for some people with big hands it's excellent.

It's also nice that you can find flush fitting 18rd mags for it, which really helps justifying it's size in this day and age.

Actually, Taurus surprisingly never really fucks up the PT92 itself, if you get MecGar magazines for them, they'll be consistently reliable, almost as good as a real Beretta, never breaks, shoots straight, has a good trigger.

The only actually bad part about the PT92 is that the factory mags suck, but that's an easy problem to fix.

Gotta admit the default sites look awful.

The default grip was awful too, I already changed the grip though.
>>
>>30597522
Both are wrong. The single best handgun ever build is the 1911. Not in function- I think we can agree with a fair degree of certainty that better guns exist- but for the legacy and innovation. When the 1911 was released, there were still some people building pepperboxes, and single action revolvers. Hell even its advantage over double action revolvers.

The fact is, there are still hundreds of 1911s, and derivatives being manufactured today, and you can thank any gun derived from the Hi Power, to the 1911. Do you like where your magazine release is? Thank our lord and savior John M. Browning.

Long live the 1911, even if only as a historic piece.

Nope, never has been, never will be.

They ruin the lines of the mustang and look like hot garbage. The proportions look like shit, the slide cuts look like shit, the finish looks like shit. Easily one of the least aesthetic 9mms this side of 1910. You are a man living in denial.
>>
>>30596860
>Actually, Taurus surprisingly never really fucks up the PT92 itself

Allegedly they've taken a bit of a dip the last few years for whatever reason. Could be as simple as worn machining, could be bullshit. I haven't handled a new one to be able to say.the three I've fired have been pretty damn good. One was so filthy the owner didn't even know it had dot sights
>>
>>30597621
Well, as dated as the 1911 is, it cemented the concept of a tilting short-recoil barrel in combination with a slide, a very simple concept which works perfectly.

Before the 1911, the Luger was probably the best service pistol in the world.
>>
>>30598061
>Allegedly they've taken a bit of a dip the last few years for whatever reason
The only thing I hear about consistently is the factory magazines being bad, which is why I suggest to get those MecGars or to modify Beretta magazines.

Otherwise you can find older ones for sale here and there.

Before the 1911? I'd absolutely argue it was.
All the other automatics were either .32ACP peashooters, or big honking monstrosities like the C96 with terrible balance and handling.

The Luger pointed well, was much faster and easier to reload, was compact and ergonomic, had a low bore-axis, and was lightweight.

Once the 9mm Parabellum cartridge was introduced, the Luger had all the power it needed and for that brief time, it was absolutely the best service pistol you could find.

I'd probably pick the 85B over the 75B just because I can shoot with either hand fairly well.

What about a pair of 85B pistols for l33t dual wielding?

He (still) doesn't know shit about HK pistols. $450 OTD for a P9S, $300 for a HK4, $1000 OTD for an SL8 (not a pistol but you get the point).

its too bad that cuntnigger owner of HKParts was stockpiling them and then got rekt by the ATF, and they seized over 490 of them. Shit used to be ~$600 for a likenew WGerman police trade-in back in 2008, before all those stupid vblog youtubers when and started 'Da bess CCW 9mm evar maid!'
