What purely aesthetic features do you enjoy in a polymer handgun /k/? Sure everybody goes for the polymer wonder guns for their functionality, but what exactly makes one physically attractive?

Post sexy polymer guns and discuss aesthetic features.

I've often felt that Glocks were a bit too monolithic in the slide area. Almost every Glock slide looks like a large, blank rectangle (on the non-ejection side). They look perfectly fine from the top view and on the ejection port side, but from the left hand or non-ejection side, they just look too bland.

Tbh the glock 19 is aesthetic to me, but then again I like minimalism and clean lines.

USP Compact. Praised by many as the Ferrari of compact polymer handguns. I have to admit, the design is boner inducing. Nice chunkiness without being too large, except maybe in the rear grip area. Give it a spurred hammer and it is pure sex.

Glock 26 imo is the most aesthetic. I like the minimalist look.

Personal front runner coming through.

>slide is detailed, but not too busy
>nice contours going forward
>forward and rear slide serations
>beavertail for beauty more than function
>Rail but not too much rail
>chunkiness to match the USP Compact
>give Glock 19 a run for its money
>attractive trigger

The only marks against it are the branding on the grip and the lack of an external safety.
>for looks, not for actual safety
>>
>>30579098
Go home Beretta, you're drunk. If you hadn't limped to the barn with the M9A3 than maybe you'd still be the Army's waifu

Speaking of safeties, if the Navy Seals adopts the Glock 19, will Glock include a external safety to please the brass? It'd be functionally unnecessary, but the military seems really sold on external safeties.

I read somewhere that if the Army selects the P320 as their next service pistol, they'd require SIG to add a external safety.

Just got myself a ruger american 9mm 17+1, pretty little bitch, fits nice out of the box, snappy takedown feature; why the hell is the left handed slide release so heavy when it's connected straight to the regular side slide release; also, why even sell a single stack model

I think the FNS 9 pulls it off great. Its a very sleek looking gun with good curves in all the right places. It isn't a boxy glock rip off.

No forward slide serrations.
5" barrel.
Feels good.
Looks good.
Shoots good.
Made in USA.
I like mine.

Will agree looks sexy as fuck, like it's straight out of Deus Ex. However the trigger pull is complete shit. Only reason I'm not currently considering one. Crossed fingers for aftermarket triggers.
>>
>>30579882
Trigger isn't even bad, m8; or don't you like featherweights?
>>
>>30579771

if the frame is slimmer on the single stack, it might carry a bit easier.

also an option for restricted states.

Big army and the rest of the military, maybe. Seals aren't known for being retards when it comes to weapon safety. They have a very wide skillset, a safetyless striker fired gun is the least of their worries.

At the end of the day, seals do whatever the fuck they want to do. If one wants to roll with a heavy ass mk25, he will.

gen 4 glocks are the most attractive to me due to their simplicity and because the stipling doesn't look cheap like it does on gen 3

my least favorite designs are ones with complex stipling designs and logos and shit all over like on beretta and xd

PX4 has a great look to it, in my opinion. Then again, I love the Cougar and the PX4 is basically a polymer Cougar.

The best safety is your trigger finger. Other than that, yes, the P320 is pretty nice looking.
