Is it legal in America?
And In europe?

Not in the US, so probably not in Europe either since they're universally shittier than us when it comes to gun laws (with the possible exception of Switzerland, which I don't know if full auto is legal there).
Full auto was regulated and effectively banned in 1986 with FOPA's Hughes Amendment. Manufacture and sale of FA weapons after 1986 to the civilian market was made illegal and only FA weapons that were registered and a stamp tax paid were made legal. Conversions of semiauto to full auto would be considered manufacture and therefore are illegal. You cannot even register it so that you could legally convert it.
Never forget that Reagan is the one who signed off on this bill. If any retard ever says Reagan was a hero of gun rights near you, please punch them in the mouth and remind them a piece of freedom was stolen away from us in 1986.
Post blueprints and how to guides, ATF is asleep

Why is it illegal to convert a gun to full auto?
>>30548695
Hmm. I don't have that bolt carrier.
I don't think that one will work for me.
>>30548770
Unless your an sot manufacturer doing so for a demo product or law letter. It has been illegal since 1986.
>>30548695
I still dont understand how that fucking thing works/is supposed to work
>Muh ATF
It's completely legal to have the information, to discuss, share infographics and blueprints, and even blatantly explain how to assemble fully automatic firearms.
>>30548787
Well I'm sorry to hear that
>>30548770
See
>>30548452
It's illegal because it's a felony to try and make a new one. It's a felony because some dickweed wrote a bill that was somehow signed into law.
>>30548798
the bolt closing causes the bolt carrier tail to press against the top of the link. The link then pivots on the upper receiver rear locking lug(not shown), causing the bottom of the link to move back. This pulls the bow back, and the bow pulls the disconnector off the hammer. The hammer falls and fires another round.

good for lightening your wallen huehuehue
>>30548812
The Fuddlord its named after who pushed it is still alive, sadly.
Just file the hook of your disconnector...
>>30552892
I think the hammer would just ride the bolt. It would stop in battery and then hammer released like a true full fun

Some people are good at repairing toasters, too. A sten isn't exactly hard to make. You might say it was designed to be as simple to make as possible.
I wonder why they aren't illegally made for criminals everywhere? Oh wait, they are.
>Is it as easy as it seem?
Yes

Think like California counties and CC, you know Sheriffs discretion right?
The Canton authorities have to sign off on full auto, and some Cantons (and their LE) are more anti gun than others.
>>30550937
What exactly is the purpose of the lightning link? Does it just jerrymander full-auto out of a semi?
>>30548343
>yes, but not in the way you think. If you get a drop in sear it is legal.
>most likely not
>yeah it is pretty easy
>I haven't done it, but drop in sears exist which looks easy.
>>30555156
....gerrymandering is not what you think it means.
But that lightning link does rig up FA action from a semiauto AR. You just need a bolt carrier that looks exactly like the one in the pic or you're going to have some problems.
>>30555156
>jerrymander
That's not what that word means, but yes. It only works with certain proprietary BCGs and lowers made by colt, not the mil-spec ones that are more common these days.
>>30555312
I should say a pre-ban drop in sear. Expect it to cost abut 20k for a shitty piece of metal. it is only legal in some states too and requires one hell of a background check.

>>30548343
100 percent legal in the US, but you need to take the finished product to your local police station or elementary school to get it signed off. They'll want it to be loaded to see that the action cycles properly.
Its illegal

Roosevelt introduced enormously lax registration law for automatic weapons mostly to make them more expensive and reduce its usage among gangsters which was a thing however if you didn't mind shelling few dollars more you could get your machineguns easily. As opposed to Reagan who made the same registration basically impossible for a normal human bean.

>(with the possible exception of Switzerland, which I don't know if full auto is legal there).
Full auto is legal in Der Schweiz with a special collector's license, but from the mountain jews I've talked to it's not as simple as simply applying for it and then going about building a collection. Apparently their system is effectively "may issue", where local LEO's who don't like your face can just revoke it on a whim, or not issue it at all, citing vague bullshit like "exhibited unsuitable character".
