Cold Steel knives are actually bretty good. The swords are durable but handle poorly because of little to no distal taper.

Cold steel knives are some of the best that can be found. They're great. Their machete line is pretty fun too for what it is (get a 25 dollar gladius or dadao)

I haven't got any of their sword but I heard that's where the company falls off at.

If you're going to pay $150-300 for a somewhat practical sword-like hunk of steel, CS's chink chopper is inferior to a katana made by said company. I say this with no well fedora'd reverence for a two-handed sabre because muh folded one-thousand times. I'd honestly prefer their machete versions of a gladius or cutlass to the Mongolian bitch blade.
