Just get one and put a rifle ar upper and wood furniture. The stock should be easy, as it's just a Remington 1100 stock. The hand guard you might have to make.

Well saying that the recoil was never there is also bullshit now is it?In the precision shooting world pitch and yaw responses during recoil when the bullet is still in the barrel is pretty fucking important. If you think the barrel is heavy just so it can take heat, then yes it can but it's primary intent was to reduce such movements that can throw off the aim during sustained fire.
