Thignken of getting a 9 inch keymod for my middy. That and possibly an hsp backbone/surefire light for it.

Will a 9 inch handguard cause shadowing issues when using a weaponlight? Or is shadowing from the barrel a small issue at worst?

AP Lower, DPMS upper, 1/9 barrel twist, Hogue grip.
came with a barska 3-9 scope, no wear, custom built by the seller.
Said he put 90 rounds through it, I checked the rifling, like new, broke it open, just abit of residue on the trigger group.

I haven't used this combo, but I have a shockwave, and 4 different stocks with that style cheek rest.
I can tell you that it's not going to be super comfy like a regular SOPMOD, but it will get the job done.

According to a semi-trip on here, you need to heat up the thordsen to get it on the shockwave.
