They are one of the best long range optics manuf. on the market. Optical quality, mechanical consistency, etc. If I remember correctly they are issued with the SOCOM bolt guns and the USMC M40A5.

Theyre extremely high quality. But keep in mind youre kind of splitting hairs past the $1500 mark for rifle scopes.

They're expensive because they're quality.

Unfortunately, at that price, I'm better served with a NF Beast or a Vortex Razor AMG.

The PM-II is quickly becoming outdated in the glass game.

One of the very few manufacturers that still make their own lenses in Europe.

Almost all other manufacturers buy lenses from China, Including ALL reasonably priced American manufacturers like Leupold and Vortex.

Pretty sure the high end Vortex scopes are using Japanese glass. Premier I think is using Japanese too. Supposedly Nightforce uses German glass but they grind and coat in Japan. Steiner, Kahles, Valdada, and Zeiss/Hensoldt use German glass.

PMII is undoubtedly one of the best scopes out there but the NF comes very close at a significantly better price.

I have the PMII 3x20 and its friggin sweet. Don't know if its worth the money I paid, but its a nice little toy. MSR reticle. Adjustable locking turrets. Clear glass. Solid construction. Only downside is it weighs a ton.
