I would gladly play an old combat flight sim over today's dumbed down assist laden garbage. Still play a lot of old games that have been updated to run on modern PCs. Graphics aren't everything.

There's Heliborne, it's a PvP helicopter game (sort of what Armored Warfare is for tanks).
It's still in early development, but you can buy an play it right now.

play Apache Air Assault if you want a god arcade.
