departure from story: I was 8, and even on heavy dose codeine syrup I couldnt sleep. It was the most excruciating unending pain you can imagine.

As an adult I now realize she marecoveryke a triple dose of codeine on top of my anti biotics, followed by about 3 shots of very cheap vodka.

Got me asleep, and allowed my body to rest a bit and rally. Was not a cure all, but it really really helped.

yeah i too know that feel,had a hole in my ear drum from an exploratory surgery as an infant constant ear infections until 16 and now i have a speech impediment and everyone thinks im british.
