The real headache would just be going to a FFL for ammo, so in a case like that the FFL just places large orders for ammo and then goes on.

But since you'd be buying from a FFL for the background check, then that would be the next step to a ammo tax, like 2 to 25 cents a round, which would go to "education and crime enforcement" or some bullshit like that.

Cops are obviously exempt, but with people just selling off their guns and finding new hobbies to avoid any further battles, the manufacturers lose out so that's why I could see them just saying fuck California.
