I told ya man. The trigger basically has no reset. Can't even feel it. I feel like that makes it great for speed stuff, but the two stage makes it great for distance too. I still love my Gold. For the longest time I was just too lazy to switch it into my SBR since I had the Wilson TTU-3G in there.

I ordered the S3 sling for my AR. It looks like it's the same general idea as the Proctor sling but $5 less and uses Kevlar loops instead of 550 para-cord, it's got buckles near the loops for easy install and removal, and has a few other little bits that set it apart.

As far as g triggers go, are there any advantages to the flat ones over say an ssa-e? Also, does streamlight make acceptable weaponlights? I'd like a solid SF but I'm on a bit of a budget

If it's mostly 3 gun then yea it's a fucking awesome trigger for that. It's real easy to just speed tap on it and hit chest sized targets at 200 yards. However to slow down and take a precise shot I found the first shot quite difficult to do. After that it's fine, just let up until the reset clicks then you're good to go. It's just that you can't really feel when the trigger will break, it just slides back then BANG. I want to hunt with the rifle too, so this doesn't work for me.

Alternatively, look at both the SD-E and AR Gold triggers. The AR Gold is fantastic (although 40 more dollars than the SD-E and SD-3G) and the SD-E offers a wall that you'll feel before the trigger breaks.

As for the light, look up the Fenix PD35 tactical model. Comes with the mount and switch for about 100 bucks. I got one on my 22 for coons, great light for the money and you can vary the brightness.

Either the SD-E or the AR Gold. If you can get the SD-E on a 4th of July sale then totally go for it. If not, the AR Gold comes from the factory at 3lbs and can be adjusted up or down from there. The reset is so short it feels like there's nothing there. I mean like like move your finger a hair forward and the trigger resets kind of short. They're 283 bucks though, so if you don't have that kind of money then watch the sales and get the SD-E.

if you are a bench shooter(rail guns), then yes, 3rds is enough but for pretty much everyone else 5 is the bare minimum and 10 is a good indicator.

the best way to do it is to shoot multiple 5 or 10rd groups and average those out.

for instance, my 14.5 is a 2moa rifle with cbc 77gr, it can shoot damn close to 1moa but on average will shoot ~1.5moa but never go beyond 2moa.
