So I'm in the market for a striker fired pistol, probably to be used for concealed carry. Right now I'm looking mainly at the VP9 or the Walther PPQ, and would like to hear opinions on both or alternative pistols to look at

Glock, M&P, Sig, Walther, Hk, they all pretty much do the same shit, and do it reliably.
I chose glawk just because I found a good deal, mags are cheap, and extra shit is plentiful for em.

PPQ is nice. Mags and aftermarket shit is expensive and hard to come by though...
>>
>>30362279
That's one of my problems with both HK pistols and the PPQ, shits so expensive for them. Honestly though I don't really want more than 4 or 5 mags for whatever I end up getting

I've shot a good amount through glocks and I get the appeal of their simplicity and reliability but in just not a huge fan personally. Any opinion on Springfield armory?
>>
>>30362279
They're also expensive for the VP9 and other HK guns.

The 15+2 capacity mags I got were $49.99 for my PPQ.

I like the trigger pull and trigger reset on the PPQ, the reset is really short so you don't really have to worry about being a fucking retard and short stroking the trigger.
The pull is also quite smooth and real pleasant, especially compared to a Glock.

What I didn't like about the PPQ were the sights.
They're fine but and will hold up to range fuckery, but if you carry it for duty or conceal carry, you'll probably mash the shit out of them. I suggest getting them replaced, trijicon, truglow and mepro makes them for the PPQ.

Yikes, mine were 32 for factory 17 9mm m1 mags
>>
>>30362459
Hmm if i get the PPQ I'll definitely look into aftermarket sights then

They use 15 round mag bodies but put on their own +2 floor plate extensions and spring kits, they're not specifically designed to hold 17 rounds and the view holes only count up to 15.

As far as I know, you can't buy those floor plate extensions on their own.
>>
>>30362577
Ya ya ya, your gun holds 15+2+1 you know what i meant
>>
>>30362644
I wasn't correcting you at all.

Why walther when you can HK Master race?
>>
I suggest glocks or sig p320s OP.

I don't use the p320's modularity as I have other guns I use for different purposes but the ability to take out the FCU makes cleaning easy.

While my glocks don't have as nice a trigger as the p320 the things are reliable, affordable, has a huge aftermarket, and cheap/widely available spare parts should you ever need to repair or replace something.

also dont forget about that fucky little tab. new spring, new fucky little tab, new base plate and 25 round mag would cost more than just buying the 17 rounders. so im not surprised they dont sell them.

P320, but honestly they're all pretty good.
>P320 Target soon
>>
>>30362401
Understandable. It's like shooting a plastic 2X4, but you get used to it.

Not a fan of XDMs. Some report questionable reliability, and I dont like the grip safety. They shoot really well though.

Does anyone here have a Steyr M or its variants?
