So my buddy took the asvab and got a 54. Retook it yesterday and got a 60. Trying to get into the US Navy. What kind of jobs are available for a score like that?
He can have his poop deck swabbed

He might be a cook.
Debatable, though.

He wanted to be a linguist. I have the sneaking suspicion that it won't work out.
>>30357659
Major league door licker

Tell him he can be a linguist if he can stop being retarded.
>>30357659
Engineering, deck, cook
Nothing a sane person would want to do for 4 years

>So my buddy
Whatever you say, anon.

I believe you need a 95 on the asvab, be able to get a TS clearance and get a 95 on the DLAB. it's no joke. He can always be in supply with the jigaboos (or Filipinos in case of the navy)

>need a 95
Got a 93. What do?
>>30361691
Something else
>>30357659
Think about it this way. However dumb your friend is, more than half of the people that took the ASVAB this year are dumber than he is.
I got a 93 and I operate nuclear power plants for the Navy.

You could retake it. Good thing about DLAB is that it is good for the duration of your career. TFW 124 GT and 120 DLAB and still failed :/
Oh well, I love medical so it's all good

Is good. I never had interest in linguistics anyway.
I know OP was navy, but what does my 93 get me for airforce?
>>30361691
You'll be fine, that's high enough for any mos if the standards haven't changed. What's your gt score?

Custodial Technician.
