I always like to link this, when people speak about "cucked up" Germany in terms of gun- and selfdefencelaws.

A few years ago, a cop was shot by an Hells Angels member, through his door. The cops wanted to raid his house, and lockpick the frontdoor to do it quietly. The Hells Angel heard someones trying to break into his house, he pulled a gun and shouted that he's going to shoot. The cops didn't say they're cops, and continued working on his door. So he shot through the door and killed one of them. He was spoken innocent by Germany's highest court - even though he didn't even own that gun legally.

THAT are German selfdefence laws. The rest of Europe can't compete, only the US.

The German army never used any tanks in battle. Never. Especially not in the wars on balcan.

They didn't even deploy the Leopard 1 down there. Germany joined the KFOR in 1999, long after they replaced the Leo 1 with the Leo 2. And they did not even use those in Kosovo. 1999, the war was long over. It was a "peacekeeping" mission, basically just patrols and hanging around.

Actually, the Bundeswehr never really fought during their KFOR engagement. First time the Bundeswehr ever carried out an attack was 2008, when the Fallschirmjäger used APCs to take an Afghan village from the Taliban.
