I want a lightweight rifle.
Love the styer stock look.

Looking for a lightweight 223 rifle to work with.
Maybe I can make my own stock and shape it to look like Styer Scout.

Any recommendations?

How do you get proper eye relief on a scope mounted so far forward? I'd reckon there's at least 6 inches of space between the ocular lens and your eye.

The Scout can be had in .223, thought it may be hard to find.

Intermediate eye relief. The optics are designed to be that far from your eye. Look up "Scout" scopes and pistol scopes.

The concept has been around since at least as far back as WW2, when the Wehrmacht had a similar scope mounted on various rifles. In a world before red dot sights, it allowed for fast target acquisition, and increased accuracy at intermediate ranges. The concept still works just fine today, even with red dots out there. You get most of the precision of a magnified scope, most of the fast acquisition of a red dot. They are truly a joy to use.

How are you liking your GSR? I just picked mine up yesterday and plan on taking it out friday I've heard that it can be finicky with ammo at times.
>>
>>30278996
>finicky with ammo
how so? i've never heard of a bolt gun having trouble to feed. ammo expanding where it shouldnt maybe, but thats not the guns fault.
