How about you stop talking out your ass, the German's deployed and KSK are very fond of the G36. The test that they put it through was firing four mags full auto and then trying to hit a target accurately in semi, but the result is moot because basically every rifle would have a decrease in accuracy after being subjected to that.

Reunification with East Germany was expensive. So instead of going for Kraut Space Magic for their next rifle. They told HK to make them a normie 5.56 service rifle and make it cheap. HK really cheaped them out by making the plastic as thin as possible.

Hard to say.

Apparently HK has changed owners enough that the German government no longer considers them their pet and started to question their workmanship.

Then tests said there was nothing wrong. Now HK is mad and is suing the government. Which makes pictures like this showing melting trunnions on a G36 a sore spot for HK and fanboys on both sides who fight over if this is real/if it was faked.

I served in the german army (Bundeswehr)
the G36 was a good, a faithful companion in my entire service time. it worked in every situation if u if you took care of it ( like adjust the sights)

the very only thing i really I see as disadvantage is the very small caliber of 5,56 × 45 mm, some old comareds still carried thier G3

The G36's I sectioned for that image came from an east coast PD, where they had been discarded for producing split groups and/or excessive dispersion after being fed "a number of magazines". Never got a solid idea of what they meant by that, but the plastic popped off the trunnion very easily after it was sectioned.

1.It was a rifle designed after the breakdown of the soviet union, with no large potential conflict in view. Overall it was a cheap, peacetime rifle, for a nation that wasnt planing to be part of any military engagements. It was asked for such a weapon, HK did deliver it according to what was asked.

2. Ursula von der Leyen is a cunt, who tried to use an open secret to make herself look like she is doing something impressive, while actually not help at all. This is a rather repetitive behaviour of her.
