Joining the military:

when i was a young kid, around 13, i had to take a trip to hospital as my mother feared i was suicidal, i had self harm wonds which i told was from playing with my dog and my family assured them it was. I am 19 now, and nowhere near suicidal. It was a immature hissy fit that escalated with my concerned mother.

will this stop me from joining the army now? will they check and know? or is it 'wiped' since im over 18.?

Same situation OP but in Australia, went through a pretty shitty phase when I was 16 eventually got over it. When I turned 18 I applied. Deemed Permanently Unfit for Service.
