Checked out the post office, turns out that when the fire kicked in Canada post took all the mail that was supposed to come in and hid it somewhere else. Not gonna be able to get it until they start deliveries again, so the new eta for gallia patches is a week or so from now.

their receivers tend to not be in spec, some even crack (or so I'm told, I'm not sure if its 100% valid) the locking shoulders for the bolt have been reported as being uneven, the corner cut out where the bolt carrier meets the fron of the receiver isnt at the correct radius, and stuff like that. other mis-spec areas here and there that will take time to fix, but if you have a good gunsmith putting it together its his problem to fix, not yours. id be sure to tell him to double check the measurements and stuff though.

Mithril is coming along slowly because I keep changing the design from the original pic

More or less yes. The three GuP iron on patches I got totaled to 4,300+ yen which translated to around 43 bucks plus shipping which was 15 bucks by itself. Getting jap shit over to the states isn't cheap.
