Well folks what do you think? Some guys are having key hole issues with the new wolf .303 british ammo. https://youtu.be/RW9mwOzhb5o can anyone chime in on this
Probably made with .308 bullets or the core is coming loose inside the jacket.

Not sure if intentionally intellectually dishonest or just stupid?

Considering Wolf already makes loads of .308 and .303 is new for them it makes sense that they might re-purpose .308 rounds
Some are saying they might have put more weight on a bullet made for like a mosin and the enfield just isnt having it. To bad i was really looking forward to having a glorious range day with my no.4

Anon, you just keep digging the hole deeper

I really wouldn't doubt that for a moment. anyone know how much light ball x54r projectiles differ from .303?

It is the same weight as WW1 factory loads at 174grs. Most mosin military loads were 150ish grs.
Most of what ive seen in .303 is 174gr

Looks like wolf makes a 174 grain 7.62x54r as well. that makes a fair bit of sense considering x54r is pretty much just a warm .303 clone. Wonder if any issues will arise if they simply recycle the bullets? Did the limes ever turn out steelcase .303? I imagine the enfield could handle it.

fug, forgot this

x54 is actually a fair bit hotter than 303. I wouldn't call it a clone.
There has certainly been steelcase 303, though if it was british or any of the myriad of other nations that have used that cartridge, I cannot remember.
I use the same bullet in my 303 and 7.62 handloads.
