Can someone help me find a lower?
I'm doing an SBR, so I'll have the lower for some time. While usually I dont have a problem with Anderson lowers, I'd like to get something a little nicer since it'll be on my trust.
I dont want some dumb shit like a zombie, or a skull. Just a nice lower with a decent mag well. Simplicity and quality is what I'm after.

Setting the fact that griffin just rips off other suppressor designs and other companies every chance they get aside, the Hybrid is a more fledged out product.

Both pistons and muzzle devices are widely available, there are a lot more options in the same regard, it supports more calibers, and performs better.

Your opinion would only matter if you have experience with both.

But with a can that is as multi role as this one, with many different applications, why add more accessories which just add to the cost instead of letting the consumer decide.

It comes with everything you need for pistols, other than a piston, which are going to vary based on what gun you are mounting it on.

For rifles it comes with the direct thread module for a 5/8x24 thread, one of the more common thread pitches for direct thread applications.

It's the same reason that SiCo pistol cans stopped coming with pistons from the factory, it makes more sense to just lower the cost and sell them separately.

So I got my AR back from the gun shop for the weekend, but on Monday I'm going back and I'm going to demand a refund for the service and for the muzzle device. I specifically walked in with the instructions KAC provides and showed them the hole that KAC pre-drilled for pinning, and they still decided to drill into the side on an angle. They patched over it poorly and then decided to hit it with a liquid bluing solution, which rubbed off before it was even out of the door.

This place is the best rated and most recommended shop in the area and I'm seriously in awe that they're this shit. I've asked KAC (with more detailed pics) if their shitty pinning would stop a suppressor from mounting (I'm sure it will) and once I get my response I'll make sure to tack that onto the argument.

Depends on how far you need beam throw. The 600 lumen 6PX honestly produces a useable beam out to nearly 200 yards, and has better side fill than a Scout 300. If you need to push further, sure. If it's HD/CQB, you're better off with a wider beam. I have both, honestly couldn't tell you which I prefer more since the only things I've shot under weaponlight illumination are targets @ 100m and a possum at ~30 feet.
